Oz Me Abroad!

The Great Family Dream! The great Aussie Adventure!

Are we there yet? AKA The Route.

It took us almost 18 months to plan this trip, what to see where to go. Given that the two dirt magnets can't last 10 mutes in the car without killing each other, we decided that on this tip, the maximum driving kilometers are to be kept to no more then 500km per day.

We also made sure that for every day of driving, we have one full day of rest in between. This should brake the monotony of driving some 15,000 km over the 3 months down a bit. Unfortunately, some of the kilometers through the middle are longer then anticipated, but we should manage.

Al going well, we should be back on home soil on the 5th of July. The route is indicative only, given the current flood situation and the fact that the Cape is very unpredictable with he road conditions, if we need to, the planed route will be changed to suit, with the option of incorporating the Kimberley in lire of the Cape, but we hope not.

The basic plan is as follows; Oz Me Abroad 2012 map, with the following key dates
