WOW! What an epic day of driving. Today saw us saying goodbye to Canberra and heading for Dubbo (or Dumbo as Bella calls it!) via Golburn and Bathurst for the Mount Panorama experience. 8 hours of hill climbing windy gravel and back country roads saw us arriving in Dubbo at 5:30 pm, just on dusk. This threw us an interesting challenge of having to set up the tent in the dark! No challenge too hard we managed and had dinner cooking away in no time.

Maciek's lap of honor! .....Trailer in tow. |
Despite driving the old country roads from town to town, and it taking a lot more time to get between places, we saw some of New South Wales' amazing country side and tiny little country towns.

Tomorrow brings us some much needed R & R and a trip to the Western Plains zoo. Fingers crossed the rains won't appear!!
