Day 72 - Mt Gambier

We woke to a cold and wet morning, with misty rain hanging around. We knew it was going to clear a little and then get worse in the afternoon so we decided to take advantage early on and get out and see the Blue lake and other outdoor attractions.

We left camp and decided to go and see the Blue lake, the sink hole and some other local attractions.

Even though it was over cast, you could still see the blue hue of the lake

Lady Nelson discovery center.

The sink hole garden in Winter.

Mount Gambier City.

Whilst escaping the cold, we saw three new blades for a wind generator being transported through town, rather impressive
The afternoon saw us go and visit some local shops for some window shopping. As it gets dark at 5:15 these days, we retreated to camp to the camp kitchen to cook up a lovely belly warming dinner. We also met some wonderful campers also traveling around. After a decent chin wag, it was time for bed.

Tomorrow we attack the Great Ocean Road... Very Excited! Can't wait......
