Day 32 - Townsville

Today we didn't see much sunshine, but still managed to get some warmth from the 27 degree day. After homework was completed, together Bella and Krystian hired a bike buggy and rode around the caravan park whilst Maciek and I got organised for the busy day ahead .

We spent much of the day inside visiting Reef HQ and The Museum of tropical Queensland. The kids had a ball at Reef HQ. I thought Bella would be scared but she was very well behaved and totally enjoyed looking at all of the fish and coral.

We got to listen to the shark talk, and were even lucky enough to be able to visit the special Turtle Hospital. There were some very sick turtles in there! i felt like i was back at work reading their bed charts LOL Krystian loved listening and learning about some breeds of sharks and he especially loved visiting the Turtle Hospital.

From Reef HQ, we headed next door to the Museum of Tropical Queensland. Here we learnt about the boat Pandora and visited the main exhibits of the museum about Tropical Queensland from the ocean to the Land. The kids had fun!

Concluding today's adventures, we headed down to the strand for coffee and a play at the park before hitting the pool for one last swim in Townsville. Tomorrow sees us heading further up the coast to Port Douglas. Until then...........
