Day 75 - Apollo Bay to Melbourne

Last night the rain stopped, which to us was a blessing as packing up a wet tent is simply no fun at all. That was until 6 am when the heavens decided to open with torrential rain once again. So it was going to be a rather WET pack up to head off to Melbourne. Non the less we had to pack up.

Today would see us travel the remainder of the Great Ocean Road and what a road this turned out to be. Although with the trailer in tow we would never set any speed records, the drive through to Melbourne was one of the most scenic drives to date, something everyone needs to experience for themselves. We vowed to return to do this road again in the summer time in years to come.

We arrived in Melbourne just after lunch and made camp. Tonight we all simply relaxed and sat back in preparation for the last days of our trip.

It seams like just yesterday we departed from much the same spot, but in a way it feels like we never left, never the less, preparation for the next trip is already in motion, any takers to join us?

Tomorrow we will spend some time visiting local Melbourne attractions, things you would not normally do when one comes to Melbourne for the weekend.....
