Day 29 - How we live, AKA the camper in depth

So i have been saying to myself that i really need to let you all see just how we live whilst on the road, so here it is.

As you may have read previously, the camper is one designed and built by Xtrail in their Melbourne Factory.

Set up view from the front, the front box houses the hart of the camper, being the batteries and power supply, with the other side of the box being the fridge

Power supply, 2x105aH batteries, intelligent battery charger, battery monitor and all the necessary isolation to meet AS3000.001 and i did it all myself. Not bad for a Mech guy.

Ahh the fridge, only 45L but seams to keep us well stoked. The meat freezer is housed in-the car

This is out portable shower. Its a Gas powered shower unit from the US, which can be st up anywhere near a water and gas source. The box was custom made to fit an existing Jerry can holder.

Front of the camper, the annex, which houses the kitchen, dinning and entertainment rooms. LOL.

The kitchen was built to spec by Drita Australia out of NSW. They really do make a great bit of kit which houses all our cutlery and crockery

The pantry is a BIG pull out draw housed next to the kitchen. It has our long term food storage such as potatoes, cereals, soups and tin goods.

Power supply can be found through out the camper to ensure we can charge our phones and use the lap top

I made these lights from parts out of eBay and bunnings of things. They are VERY bright and clip into place every time we set up.

The master swuite, AKA my bed. Its a full queen bed c/w inner spring mattress. Its VERY comfortable.

The kids bedroom, small but practice, at least they can't make too much of a mess.

Interior draw pulls out into the camper and houses out towels and long term medical supplies, such as ibuprofen and so forth.

Bed side lights an power supplies, all neat and tidy and in the right place.

Main interior light in the camper, same set up as per the annex light

So there you go, an overview of our living quarters. We have already stared planning for our next upgrade, but its a bit bigger and will require me to have a medium rigid drives licence.
